Michigan’s Ann Arbor (WILX) – The Minnesota Vikings inked former Michigan quarterback JJ McCarthy to a rookie contract on Friday afternoon.
McCarthy was chosen in Detroit’s NFL Draft with the tenth overall pick. He agreed to a contract that was four years long with a five-year option. McCarthy’s salary is $21.85 million, completely guaranteed, with a $12.71 million signing bonus.
McCarthy wants to take Kirk Cousins’ spot as the starting quarterback for the Minnesota Vikings, having playedfor MSc.
