Just out : G DJ Steward signs a two-way contract with the Bulls.

-

On Sunday, the Chicago Bulls signed guard DJ Steward, a free agent, to a two-way contract.
Steward, 22, a native of Chicago, was a star player for the Bulls’ Las Vegas Summer League squad, scoring 37 points against Atlanta on Friday.
The Boston G League club, the Maine Celtics, had the 6-foot-2 Steward play in 32 games (five starts) with an average of 19.3 points, 5.2 rebounds, 4.5 assists, and 29.7 minutes.
With the Stockton Kings (2022–23) and Maine Celtics (2023–24), he played in 90 games (26 starts) with averages of 15.5 points, 3.9 rebounds, 4.1 assists, and 27.2 minutes.

After spending one season at Duke (2020–21), where he averaged 13.0 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 2.4 assists over 24 games (22 starts), Steward was not selected in the first round of the Atlantic Coast Conference Freshman All-Freshman competition.
The Bulls have 19 players on their roster, including forward Adama Sanogo, guard Andrew Funk, and center Steward, who are all limited to two-way contracts.
