Leigh Leopards have signed former Castleford Tigers full-back Bailey Hodgson on a deal which runs until the end of the 2026 season.
The 21-year-old most recently played in the NSW Cup in Australia with Blacktown after moving to Australia in 2020.
Hodgson made one appearance for Castleford before joining Newcastle Knights in late 2020 and then went on to join Manly in 2023, however he has not made a senior appearance in the NRL.
“I am really excited and grateful to be joining Leigh Leopards this season, and competing back on home soil,” he said.
“I had a few tough years over in Australia with injuries but when the opportunity with Leigh came up it felt like the perfect way to start a new chapter.”
Hodgson, who is the nephew of England hooker Josh, will be available for selection for the rest of the 2024 campaign.
