Full Olympics Schedule For Greece Giannis Antetokounmpo

Milwaukee Bucks fans who have been craving for some Giannis Antetokounmpo action in the Olympics will finally get their wish. The Paris Games are now underway with the highly-anticipated opening ceremonies scheduled for Friday.

Supporters who are looking for Greece’s schedule for the upcoming tournament need not look any further. We’ve got you covered.

For starters, Greece is in Group A of the opening stage of the tournament, which features three groups of four teams each.

Unfortunately for Giannis and Co., they are in what many consider to be the “Group of Death.” Canada, who have the second-best odds to win the gold medal behind Team USA, are the favorites to finish atop the group. The other two teams in Group A are Australia, who are considered by some as a potential dark horse, as well as 2019 FIBA World Cup champions Spain.

Greece will kick off its Olympics campaign on Saturday against Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and the Canadian squad (2 p.m. CT). They will face Spain on Tuesday at 4 a.m. CT, with their final contest against Australia scheduled on Friday, August 2, at 6:30 a.m. CT.

The Greeks will qualify for the knockout stage if they finish either first or second in their group. They can also qualify if they finish third, but only if they are one of the two best third-place finishers in the group phase.
