RD 22 TEAM: Midfielder makes his return…..

-

For its pivotal match against Carlton on Sunday afternoon at the MCG, Hawthorn has made one change.

Cam Mackenzie, a rising midfield player, rejoins the squad following three weeks of consistent play for Box Hill.

Josh Ward was left off of the roster for Sunday’s game, so his selection comes at his expense.

Rob McCartney, Executive General Manager of Football at Hawthorn, greeted Mackenzie’s return to the starting lineup.

“Cam has earned his spot off the back of outstanding performances at Box Hill over the past couple of weeks,” McCartney stated.

“He continues to develop in season 2024 and this high-stakes game against the Blues will be another great opportunity for him to grow as a player.”
