Olympic Triple-Double For Nikola Jokic Leads Him To Joins Lebron And Doncic

 

Nikola Jokic scored 19 points, grabbed 12 rebounds, and dished out 11 assists to collect his first Olympic triple-double, joining three other players, Alexander Belov, LeBron James, and Luka Doncic.

Nikola Jokic dominated the game once again, leading the Serbian national team to an Olympic bronze medal. Along the way, he registered a triple-double, a rarity at the Olympic Games.

Jokic scored 16 points on 7-for-15 shooting (6/13 2PT), grabbed 12 rebounds, and dished out 11 assists en route to a 93-83 victory over World champion Germany.

Before the bronze-medal game, Jokic led the Olympics in total rebounds, was tied first in assists and steals, and led the tournament in efficiency and double-doubles.

He joined LeBron James in the Paris Olympics, who registered a double-double just two days ago against Serbia in the world-class semifinal.

This, in turn, became the first time in Olympic history when more than one player registered a triple-double at the same Olympic tournament.

Alexander Belov (USSR) – 23 points, 14 rebounds, and 10 assists vs. Canada in 1976.

LeBron James (USA) – 11 points, 14 rebounds, and 12 assists vs. Australia in 2012

Luka Doncic (Slovenia) – 16 points, 10 rebounds, and 18 assists vs. France in 2021.

LeBron James (USA) – 16 points, 12 rebounds, and 10 assists vs. Serbia in 2024.

Nikola Jokic (Serbia) – 19 points, 12 rebounds, and 11 assists vs. Germany in 2024.
