A member of Anonymous Bulls Rips Zach LaVine

-

Zach LaVine and the Chicago Bulls’ relationship appears to be in a very terrible place and is unlikely to get better.

LaVine wants to leave the Bulls, according to multiple sources, and the front office is attempting to arrange a deal.

NBACentral reports that an unidentified team member has since spoken with ESPN, and they had nothing positive to say about LaVine.

According to the source:

“He’s never prevailed; he’s always done things his way. He’ll comply with instructions if he wants to win. And one approach to counter his motivation to not be here is to come, comply, and be himself.

This statement suggests that LaVine is not a particularly giving team member.

According to ESPN, there are other issues that the team and LaVine cannot agree on, like the player’s choice to have surgery months ago that will end his season.

The narrative and the anonymous quote imply that LaVine’s stay in Chicago is undoubtedly coming to an end.

But the Bulls have found it extremely difficult to let him go, and it appears that his huge salary and track record of ailments are turning away front offices around the NBA.

When the new season starts, there’s a chance the Bulls hang onto LaVine, but not because they want to.

If LaVine is still wearing a Bulls uniform in the fall, it’s because the franchise was unable to sign him to a contract.
