Milwaukee Bucks: Thanasis Antetokounmpo’s Inspiring Message After Greece’s Brutal Loss vs. Spain
Milwaukee Bucks news: It’s not just Giannis Antetokounmpo who went through some real pain after Greece lost its second game in a row in the Paris Olympics on Tuesday. Sitting courtside was his brother, Thanasis Antetokounmpo, who as expected, was passionately cheering the national side throughout the hard-fought encounter.

Not long after the loss, Thanasis took to X, formerly Twitter, to send an inspiring quote — one that Greece can use ahead of their final game in the group stage on Friday.

In his tweet, Thanasis used a photo of himself during Tuesday’s game. His trademark intensity was on full display as he did all he could to cheer his Greek teammates on.
All this must have been much harder for the Bucks forward given how he was unable to take the court with his countrymen. Thanasis was originally part of the lineup that was set to represent Greece in the Paris Games. However, the 32-year-old suffered a torn Achilles in the offseason, which forced him to miss the Olympics.
Greece has one final game coming up in the group stage, which will be a do-or-die battle against Australia on Friday. You can be sure that Thanasis will be there
