breaking news : Detroit Tigers: 7/21 Roster Changes

The Detroit Tigers, who defeated the Toronto Blue Jays 5-4 on Friday and 7-3 on Saturday, will aim to complete a sweep of this three-game series. Prior to the game today, they made a flurry of roster movements. Ryan Vilade was optioned to Triple-A Toledo, while Reese Olson was placed on the 15-day disabled list due to a right shoulder injury. In line with it, they have chosen Easton Lucas and Bligh Madris from Toledo; Kerry Carpenter was moved to the 60-day injured list to create place for Madris.

INF/OF Ryan Vilade was placed on the 60-day disabled list, while RHP Reese Olson was optioned to Triple-A Toledo. Ezoic INF/OF Bligh Madris was chosen from Toledo’s Triple-A LHP Easton. Lucas was brought back from Toledo OF Triple-A. Kerry Carpenter was sent to the injured list for 60 days.

INF/OF: Ryan Vilade With nine games played, Vilade has a.752 OPS, four RBI, one home run, four runs scored, and two walks. He has played in 70 games this season with Toledo, hitting.286 with an OPS of.837; he has scored 33 runs, stolen 13 bases, had 16 doubles, nine home runs, 42 RBI, and 28 walks.

Reese Olson, RHP
Olson, who has made 19 starts this season and gone 4–8, has a 3.23 ERA, 3.12 FIP, 2.7 BB/9, and 8.0 K/9 in 103 innings pitched. He pitched just two innings yesterday, giving up just one hit and no runs. He also walked two and failed to register a strikeout.

INF/OF-Bligh Madris Madris has 80 games of playing experience with Toledo’s hitting.236 with a.803 OPS; he has scored 42 runs, stolen bases (17), doubles, a triple, 14 home runs, 46 RBI, and 40 walks.

Easton LHP Lucas
Lucas had a difficult time in his three games as a rookie with the Tigers, recording a 14.73 ERA, 2.34 FIP, 3.00 WHIP, 7.4 BB/9, and 14.7 K/9 in 3.2 innings. He has played in 16 games with Toledo, going 1-1 while recording a 4.38 ERA, 1.38 WHIP, 4.4 BB/9, and 11.7 K/9 in 24.2 innings.

Kerry Carpenter, OF
Since May 26th, Carpenter has not been present. Over 50 games, he was making hits.283 with a.914 OPS; he had eight home runs, four triples, ten doubles, eight walks, and twenty-one runs scored.
