Fan Reactions on Bucks’ Emirates NBA Cup Schedule Draws

-

The NBA’s In-Season Tournament will return for the coming 2024-25 campaign, and it already has a schedule for Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks.

The Bucks are one of the five teams in the East B Group. The groups have been randomly organized based on conferences and records in the 2023-24 season.

The Bucks are grouped with the Indiana Pacers, Miami Heat, Toronto Raptors, and Detroit Pistons. Their first assignment in the tournament will be versus the Raptors at home on Nov. 12. Next, they will be dealing with division rivals Pacers on Nov. 22. That will be followed by road games against the Heat (Nov. 26) and the Pistons (Dec. 3).

Last year, Antetokounmpo and the Bucks went 4-0 during group play and defeated the New York Knicks in the quarterfinals. However, Milwaukee got eliminated by the Pacers in the semifinal round.

“Nothing, I enjoyed the process,” Antetokoumpo said in 2023 when asked if he had any ideas for future iterations of the In-Season Tournament (via CBS Sports).

“If it was just a regular season game, who would’ve cared? I think it brings more attention to our game. I didn’t think there is anything to tweak. I think it’s great so far.
