Hawks launch Hawthorn College of Sport

Hawthorn College of Sport is the result of an exciting new partnership between Hawthorn and Box Hill Institute.

Hawthorn Football Club and Box Hill Institute have partnered to form Hawthorn College of Sport, an exciting new endeavor.

Through this relationship, students can complete Box Hill Institutes’ dual diploma in Sport and Leadership and Management while gaining invaluable practical experience in Hawthorn’s high-performance workplace.

Students will be fully immersed in the club throughout their educational journey, having access to Hawthorn’s top-notch facilities, players, coaches, fitness and medical professionals, as well as leaders in athletic administration.

Students will have access to unique learning opportunities and on-the-job training through the specialized dual diplomas, putting them in the best possible position for a career in the sports business.

In the upcoming months, expressions of interest will be accepted for admission to the joint diploma program with Box Hill Institute through Hawthorn College of Sport. The first cohort of students will commence the program in February 2025.

Ash Klein, CEO of Hawthorn, was ecstatic to announce the fascinating new partnership.
