hot deal : Celtics Sign 3-Point Sharpshooter to $45 Million Deal: Report

The Boston Celtics have prioritized locking in their current roster over adding new players over the offseason, and their most recent addition is further evidence of this strategy.

According to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, Boston signed role player and 3-point specialist Sam Hauser to a new deal on Sunday, July 21.

“A four-year, $45 million contract extension has been agreed upon by Boston Celtics forward Sam Hauser, one of the NBA’s most accurate three-point shooters, his agent Jason Glushon of @GlushonSM tells ESPN,” Wojnarowski stated via X.

Early in July, the Celtics also inked Derrick White to a four-year, $118 million contract, and Jayson Tatum to a five-year, $314 million extension.
