Hull FC continued their difficult start to 2024 at the weekend, with the Black and Whites slumping to another defeat.
Their loss away against the Huddersfield means they have now won just once in their opening 13 Super League matches. They remain five points behind Castleford Tigers and host Leeds Rhinos after the Challenge Cup break.
With John Cartwright confirmed as head coach for 2025, and Director of Rugby, Richie Myler in position, the club’s planning for an improved 2025 has stepped up a gear. They have already confirmed the signing of John Asiata, and are reportedly interested in signing Jayden Sullivan and Jordan Abdull.
Last month, reports began to emerge that the Black and Whites were interested in signing England international, Elliott Whitehead, whose contract in the NRL expires at the end of the season. Myler described Whitehead as a “high-performing individual we’d be interested in”
