just in:Re-signing F Connor Dewar to a one-year deal, Leafs

On Tuesday, the Toronto Maple Leafs re-signed forward Connor Dewar to a $1.18 million, one-year contract. Dewar, 25, was acquired by the Maple Leafs from Minnesota on March 8 and played in 17 games for Toronto last season, averaging 12:54 of ice time with one goal and four assists. In 57 games with the Wild the previous season, he scored 10 goals and provided four assists

In six playoff games for Toronto against the Boston Bruins in the first round, he also recorded an assist. During the third round of the 2018 draft, Dewar was chosen by the Wild. Over the course of three seasons, he spent parts of two with the Wild (2021–24) and the other with the Maple Leafs, totaling 190 games, 19 goals, and 24 assists.
