League One team Willum Thór Willumsson from the Go Ahead Eagles has officially signed with Birmingham City, according to their announcement. The 25-year-old and St Andrew’s have agreed to a four-year contract that will last through the summer of 2028.With the Go Ahead Eagles in the Eredivisie over the past two seasons, Willumsson has made 62 appearances, tallying 15 goals and dishing out six assists. The nine-time Icelandic international is the most adaptable midfield player on the planet. Although he can play deep midfield or on either wing, his primary position is as an attacking midfielder.

Thór, who has a fantastic left foot and enjoys long-range shots, will undoubtedly be crucial to Birmingham’s efforts to get promoted back up to the Championship. Willum Thór Willumsson has joined the team as their second summer acquisition in the Eredivisie after Heracles Almelo traded for Swedish winger Emil Hansson.
