Luka Doncic Arguably Already Has A Hall Of Fame Career At Age 25.

-

He’s on the path to be one of the greatest NBA players of all-time, and he continues to add to his elite resume.

Mavs fans will never forget Doncic being apart of some of the greatest performances in NBA history, like when he put in a game-tying shot off a rebound in a comeback effort against New York. Or when he put up 73 points against the Atlanta Hawks, the team that traded him on draft night six years ago.

Doncic was added as the No. 25 man in a recent list of the 21st century’s best players from ESPN.

Since his first year in the league, fans and sports media pundits saw how great Doncic could actually be.

His first great moment was Doncic almost singlehandedly leading his team to a comeback against the Houston Rockets. This included an embarrassing moment for big man Clint Capela when he was a victim of Doncic’s lethal step-back jumper.

That same player has since been awarded Rookie of the Year, five-time All-NBA First Team selections, and was an NBA scoring champion this past season.

Former NBA coach and analyst Mark Jackson called Doncic an “absolute combination of Magic Johnson and Larry Bird.”

Another Maverick legend, Dirk Nowitzki cracked the list at No. 10. Many sports analysts have already declared Doncic as the greatest player in franchise history. Nowitzki himself praised Doncic as being the best Maverick player ever. Mavs head coach Jason Kidd called Doncic’s game ahead of Nowitzki. Strong praise from Maverick greats.

Active players like Paul George are even taking note to Doncic’s game, praising him as the greatest to ever do it.

These are just a few examples of Doncic’s ceiling not even being at its highest quite yet. If he wins a championship for Dallas one day, his legacy will officially be cemented as one of the greatest to ever set foot on a basketball court.
