Mavericks’ Luka Doncic dealt concerning injury update ahead of Game 2 vs. Celtics
Dallas Mavericks star Luka Doncic is now questionable for Game 2 of the NBA Finals vs the Boston Celtics on Sunday evening.
Doncic was initially listed as probable with a right knee sprain and left ankle soreness, but has now been downgraded with a Thoracic contusion, via the Mavericks’ injury report, per Tomer Azerly of ClutchPoints on X.
Doncic scored efficiently but was unable to generate many opportunities for his teammates during Game 1 on Thursday, and the Mavericks will hope to have him back out on the floor to try to make amends on Sunday night at 8:00 PM ET.
