Mediaset: De Rossi expresses interest in Abraham, a possible makeweight for Milan’s defense

This summer, AS Roma coach Daniele De Rossi is keen to sign Davide Calabria from AC Milan, which would make it easier for Tammy Abraham to go in the opposite direction.

The Roma coach, who is starting his first full season as the Giallorossi’s manager, believes that Calabria would be a great addition to his squad, according to Sport Mediaset (via Milan News).

Given that Milan and Tottenham are nearing a deal for another right-back, Emerson Royal, to join, a transfer domino effect could occur very soon.Although there isn’t a current intention to sell Calabria, Milan may use the right-back from Italy as leverage to sign Abraham from Roma.

Although Divock Origi, Jovic, and Noah Okafor have all been suggested as potential counterparts in a deal for Abraham, it appears that De Rossi is more interested in Calabria than any of the players listed above.

Whether or if Calabria would want to take such action is still up in the air, and it would almost probably depend on Emerson showing there.
