Nike Giannis Freak 6 Total Orange

Giannis Antetokounmpo’s Nike Giannis Freak 6 sneaker appears set for an October debut in “Total Orange.”

Official images have revealed the latest signature sneaker for Giannis Antetokounmpo.

The Nike Giannis Freak 6 “Laser Orange” will release in October while bringing a new logo to the Greek superstar’s signature line. Mismatched marks on the tongue and insole feature a cartoon-like image of Antetokounmpo flexing and a “Freak” badge including a lightning bolt and his own logo forming the “a.” The lightning theme continues with a print appearing faintly across the bright orange upper.

More dashes of color arrive through a pink midsole and oversized green Swoosh. Just like the Giannis Freak 5, the latest iteration continues without the backward Swoosh that had been a hallmark of the first four models.

Tech specs have yet to be revealed for the Giannis Freak 6 but should come soon through an official announcement in the build-up to October.

The Giannis Freak 5 placed an emphasis on speed with a top-loaded Zoom Air unit in the forefoot and a springy foam midsole. Four internal pieces lock down the foot, and two distinct patterns provide traction on the insole, including the GT Cut 2’s Smear pattern on the heel.

Antetokounmpo will be the male flagbearer for Greece at the Paris Olympics Opening Ceremony, and there’s a good chance the men’s basketball tournament will mark the on-court debut for the Giannis Freak 6.

The Nike Giannis Freak 6 “Laser Orange” is slated to release in October through Nike’s website and select third-party retailers. Pricing is set at $140.
