Questions Emerged Whether Or Not If Giannis Antetokounmpo And Company Will Win Another Trophy Soonest

After winning a ring in 2021, Milwaukee Bucks fans hoped for a repeat of their championship run. But after several failed attempts, questions have emerged about the ability of Giannis Antetokounmpo and company to win another one in the soonest time possible.

The Bucks, fresh off a challenging 2024 season, are gearing up for the 2024-25 NBA campaign. After winning the championship in 2021, the team faced early playoff exits in recent years due to injuries and inconsistency. Last season, they made headlines by trading for star point guard Damian Lillard, but struggles with team chemistry and coaching led to the mid-season firing of Adrian Griffin, with Doc Rivers taking over.

This season, the Bucks will rely on their core players: Antetokounmpo, Khris Middleton, and Brook Lopez. Staying healthy will be crucial, as the team aims to regain its status as a title contender. While Lillard brings offensive firepower, the departure of Jrue Holiday has raised concerns about the team’s defensive capabilities.

The Bucks have added several key veterans, including Taurean Prince and Gary Trent Jr., to bolster their roster. However, losing experienced role players could impact their depth. Rookies Tyler Smith and AJ Johnson may not contribute significantly right away, but they have potential for future development.

Just recently, NBA TV shared a post on their official X account questioning whether Milwaukee’s title window has already closed. This led fans to share their thoughts on the matter.

“I hope Lillard’s career does not turn into Westbrook’s post OKC career. They need a good free agency or a trade. The most common mistake for teams that are similar to Milwaukee is getting a third huge contract as an overpay.(like Phoenix did it for Bradley Beal),” KennyS shared.

“We just gonna act like Dame wasn’t on a tear before the Achilles injury. That and Khris Middleton was easily the best player in that series with two bad ankles and a twisted knee. They will be legit as long as they can stay healthy,” Dru tweeted.

With a projected record of 44-38, the Bucks are expected to finish around sixth in the Eastern Conference, hoping to rebound from their previous playoff disappointment. The synergy between Lillard and Giannis will be pivotal, as both players seek to elevate their game together.

If they can overcome past hurdles and maintain health, the Bucks could make a significant playoff run in 2025, striving to reclaim their championship glory. Otherwise, there’ll be a lot of disappointment to go around after everything the franchise has done to compete.
