Saturday14 September) Castleford Tigers Will Host PDRL Finals Day

Rugby League’s physical disability variation, PDRL, takes centre stage in Castleford on Saturday (14 September) when the games top 4 teams battle it out for the 2024 crown.

Taking place at the Mend-a-Hose Jungle; Warrington Wolves; Bradford Bulls; Salford Red Devils; Hull FC; Sheffield Eagles & Hull KR will all participate in a development festival with Leeds Rhinos; Wakefield Trinity; Wigan Warriors and Castleford Tigers competing for the trophy.

PDRL has had another successful year after building on the back of the England PDRL Community Lions historic triumph in the 2022 World Cup with a record 11 teams taking part in the competition this year.

And it’s been another impressive season for Wakefield Trinity, with Community Lions player’s Connor Lynnes, Darren Dean and Adam Fleming leading their side to the League Leaders’ Shield ahead of this weekend’s event. Trinity will go into finals day confident, but the rest of the sides in action on Saturday will have something to say about that.

And the action won’t stop there, with the England PDRL Community Lions set to take on Wales at Salford City Roosters RLFC on Saturday 12 October with the players and officials from both sides then attending the Super League Grand Final.
