Stats Of Luka Doncic This Past Season

Luka Doncic of the Dallas Mavericks didn’t win MVP last season but everyone still agrees that he had an amazing year and cemented his place as one of the greatest players in the league.

On Thursday night, Doncic was given the ESPY for NBA Player of the Year, and the stats back up that choice.

StatMuse pointed out Doncic’s amazing season on Twitter, reminding readers that he averaged 32.7 points, 9.3 rebounds, and 9.4 assists while also claiming an All-Star spot and a place on the First Team All-NBA.

Luka Doncic this season + playoffs:

— 32.7 PPG

— 9.3 RPG

— 9.4 APG

— All-Star

— First Team All-NBA

— WCF MVP

— 1st in total points

After years of certain fans complaining about Doncic’s physical state and conditioning, he entered the season looking ready to go and was consistent the entire time.

They made some mid-season adjustments, got even better, and were able to power themselves all the way to the NBA Finals.

They ultimately lost the championship to the Boston Celtics but Doncic and his Mavericks had a season to be very proud of.

Next season could be even more exciting in Dallas, especially now that the Mavericks have added Klay Thompson.

Competition for that award will be tough with Nikola Jokic attempting to win it again and others like Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Joel Embiid, and others playing well too.

But Doncic’s greatness cannot be denied and he could build upon all the great things he did in 2023-24.
