What Snoop Dogg Say About Luka Doncic

Snoop Dogg clarifies that Luka Doncic was not talking trash to him and reveals he became a fan of the Mavericks star that night.

Snoop Dogg went viral during Game 5 of the Western Conference Finals between the Dallas Mavericks and the Minnesota Timberwolves, thanks to Luka Doncic. In the third quarter, Doncic appeared to tell Snoop, “Who’s crying mother******?” but the rapper made it clear on the WHOO’S House Podcast that it wasn’t aimed at him.

“I was there sitting with my boy Jimmy Jam, you know what I’m saying? OG,” Snoop said. “I was in town, I had a show the next night. I’m a basketball fan. I never seen Luka play live, I wanted to see him get down. Kyrie is a friend of mine, just wanted to see some good basketball and Anthony Edwards is a bad mother******.

“Luka wasn’t talking to me, it was somebody that was talking s*** to him the whole —every minute I was there,” Snoop continued. “He was like, ‘Luka, you crybaby, you cried.’ And then when Luka took the lead, he said, ‘Who’s crying now mother******?’

“I was like, ‘This n***a’s dog. He get down, I like his get down.’ ‘Cause he meets the press,” Snoop stated. “… So, I became a fan of Luka that night.”

That individual should have known, that poking the bear that is Doncic never ends well and the Slovenian probably did make some Timberwolves fans cry that night. He and the Mavericks jumped all over the home team and led by as many as 36 points at one stage. They eventually went on to win 124-103 to advance to the NBA Finals.

Doncic had 36 points, 10 rebounds, 5 assists, and 2 steals in that game. The 25-year-old was really excellent all series long and was named Western Conference Finals MVP.

Doncic was at the top of the world after that series. There was talk of him being the best player in the NBA and whatnot, but it all then went horribly wrong for the five-time All-Star in the NBA Finals.

The Mavericks fell down 3-0 to the Boston Celtics and the spotlight was on Doncic’s struggles on defense and his constant complaining. The critics were quietened a bit with a win in Game 4, but it’s safe to say it doesn’t seem like a happy ending is in store for him here.
